Co2 Questions and Answers:

Q: Can I buy a cylinder of Co2 from you?

A:  We will sell you a 20lb Co2 cylinder. (Call for 281-850-4604)

Q: How much are the Co2 refills going to cost me?

A: It usually cost about $1.00 per pound for the 10lb to the 15lb bottles to be filled.

The larger bottles are much less in price per pound to fill. Less than half the price at some locations.


Q: How long will one bottle of Co2 last?

A: About 30 to 40 hours per pound of Co2. A 10lb bottle will last approx. 500 hours and if you set your timer to run for 12 hours a day, it would last approx. 40 days.

Q:What is the difference between using propane like some other models and using Co2?

A: A standard propane tank last about 20 days and about $10 to $12 to refill..
You can not turn it on and off automatically with a timer. You must manually do this.
 
The Mosquito Terminator is powered by a landscaping timer which gives you the control as to when and how long you want to use your Co2. Co2 can be purchased in many different bottle sizes and they are sized by pounds of Co2 that they contain. You get between 30 and 40 hours per pound of Co2.
 
You set the timer for what type of mosquitoes you have. You might have the mosquitoes that only come out one hour before sunset and hang around for three hours. Set your timer at three hours and you can make your 10lb tank last up to 166 .64 days.
